Identity anchor is the one identity or an account that other online account rely on to validate that you're real user, and not a fake account or a bot. Identity anchors are usually accounts/services that nearly everyone has, that the individual will retain access to even if they replace their devices and that they're unlikely to have multiple of. Most common identity anchors are email and phone number.
